Gianluca Santoni was born in 1991 in Fermo. He moved to Rome in 2010, where he attended courses in directing, he worked as an assistant for web series, commercials, short films. From 2013 to 2015 he attended  Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. In that time he worked on a short with a social background “With food is not joking” for Expo, and on a web series “Genitori vs Figli” for Rai Fiction. He made also  some music videos and four short films, including his short diploma: “Gionatan with the G “. In 2017 he won the Solinas Prize for the best subject for: “Me and the Secco.”

Gianluca Santoni est né en 1991 à Fermo. En 2010, il commence à vivre à Rome, où il suit des cours de réalisation et travaille comme assistant pour des web séries, des publicités et des court métrages. De 2013 à 2015 il suit les cours du Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia à Rome. Durant cette période il travail sur un court métrage social, « With food is not joking » pour Expo, et sur une web série « Genitori vs Figli » pour Rai Fiction. Il a aussi réalisé des vidéo clip et quatre court métrage dont son film de fin d’étude, « Gionatan with G ». En 2017, il remporte le prix Solinas du meilleur sujet pour « Me and the Secco ».
